Pharos
Pharos was the lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, guiding ships safely to port for over a thousand years. We take inspiration from that, aiming to provide patients with orientation and transparency at the moment they need it.
Our mission
When a patient receives a referral, they often need to figure out where to go. Most patients are left to work that out themselves, without knowing what is actually available near them, and what facilities take their plan. Pharos exists to clear up that uncertainty and help patients navigate the decision, making your healthcare easier to obtain.
Pharos is a nonprofit research project, not a commercial product. It is 100% free to use, and we ask only the minimum information needed. Findings from our research will be submitted for peer review. If you are a researcher or a clinician interested in collaboration, please reach out.
